JDRF's Hope Gala

 The Mississippi Chapter of JDRF is pleased to have Jerry and Olivia Host serving as the 2012 Hope Gala Honorees.

Jerry is president and chief executive officer of Trustmark Corporation and Trustmark National Bank headquartered here in Jackson, MS. Jerry’s leadership skills have been noted in professional and nonprofit service throughout the community. He has served on the Board of the Capital Club of Jackson, the Mississippi Museum of Art, the New Orleans Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and the Mississippi Economic Council Board of Governors. Jerry has also served as President of Mississippi Chapter of JDRF.

Olivia has more than 27 years of public tax accounting experience. Olivia is a former Senior Manager of the Jackson, MS office of KPMG. In 2006, she helped establish Johnson, Bruce & Host, PLLC with her partners and served in that capacity until merging with BKD in 2008. She currently serves as a Partner for BKD Mississippi. Olivia has also served in various community leadership roles. She is on the board of trustees for the Metro Jackson Habitat for Humanity, is past treasurer of the Junior League of Jackson and past-president of the Board of Trustees for Madison Ridgeland Academy.
