Mississippi Chapter’s
2010 Walk to Cure Diabetes!
JDRF's Walks are family-friendly, held at great locations, and feature plenty of entertainment, food, and fun. Over 500,000 people at 200 Walk sites nationwide participate in our annual walks. Participants raise millions of dollars, getting friends, family, business contacts and co-workers to sponsor their participation. Funds are also raised by Corporate Walk Teams through sponsorships, corporate matching and promotional fundraising activities. We invite you to join us at the Mississippi Walk and become one of the many people that will walk together to make a difference in the lives of those with type 1 diabetes. You'll have a great time, get some exercise, and, most importantly, be a part of the cure!
With over 1600 walkers in attendance this year, JDRF Mississippi raised $550,000! Good Job Walk Teams! Keep up the good work!
